They look great, very purple...but great!! (or should I say grrrrapppe!) I know what you mean about yarn needing to come home with you. I purposely don't look for yarn just for this very reason. I am a bit of a yarn snob, but even acrylics have a way of making their way home, just because they are yarn! LOL!!!
Oh Heather... I am right there with you on acrylic yarn. I don't buy a lot of it, but I do buy it. I found some at Hobby Lobby called I Love This Yarn. I bought some. It is soft, as far as acrylic goes. Nothing is better for making amigurumi things ... the definition is much better than other yarns.
But I still cringe when I think about it still sitting on my shelves next to my "good" yarn. LOL!
I am a mom of three kids ... one of whom inspired me to take up the knitting needles and make beautiful wool soakers and pants to supply her covers for her cloth diapers. Since that time, I have been unable to satisfy my insatiable appetite for all things yarn and needles.

I am a yarn snob. I admit it.
